Why you should join Yoga Coastal?

Because your body deserves more than just stretching—it deserves strength, sweat, and a seriously supportive tribe. We blend athletic-focused yoga, strength foundations, and low-impact movement into a practice that builds you up without burning you out. Powered by infrared heat and good energy, we’re a community for men and women who train hard, move smart, and flow with purpose. This isn’t your average yoga class

Is this for women & men?

Yes! For women ready to sculpt that rockin’ body they’ve been dreaming of—and for men who want to get strong, lean, and beach-ready without pounding their joints into dust. Yoga Coastal is where mindful movement meets athletic training, blending yoga, strength-building, and low-impact intensity in a heated, tribe-powered space. Whether you’re chasing performance, physique, or just a healthier way to move, we’ve got your back (and your glutes, and your core).

What is Hot Vinyasa Flow Yoga?

Hot Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that links breath with movement in a flowing sequence—practiced in a heated room, typically 90°F. Compared to other forms like Hatha (slower-paced and focused on alignment) or Yin (deep stretches held for longer), Vinyasa is more vigorous and cardio-intense.

Why is the room heated to 90°F?

We use infrared heat The heat serves several purposes: it helps warm up your muscles more quickly, allowing for deeper stretches and reducing the risk of injury. Sweating also promotes detoxification by flushing out impurities through the skin. Plus, the warmth challenges your cardiovascular system, adding intensity and helping you build endurance.

What are the benefits of using infrared heat vs hot air?

Unlike most studios that use traditional heating systems to blow hot air, we use Infrared heaters which work by penetrating the skin and warming you from the inside out, much like the sun’s natural warmth (but without the UV). This results in a deeper, more efficient sweat without feeling like you're suffocating in a humid room.

Is Hot Vinyasa Yoga good for weight loss and toning?

Yes! Because of its fast-paced, flowing nature and the heated environment, Hot Vinyasa Yoga can burn more calories than many traditional yoga styles. The practice builds strength, tones muscles, and increases metabolism, making it a great addition to any fitness or weight loss routine.
